Griffin iTrip FM Transmitter with Auto Dock Connector Cable for iPod and iPhone

Although it will charge an iPhone 3G, the signal to the radio is not clear. I can barely hear the audio of the recording. I have a 06 Jeep grand Cherokee with the Nav radio. I mostly here static. Not worth the money!!!!!!!!!!!!

Decent product, but I returned it because of the poor audio quality. There was so much static on every station that it was just not a usable product in my opinion. Everyone that says this is a good product must have extremely low audio quality standards. It is like listening to an AM station with a lot of static on it. The auto channel find feature doesn’t always find the best station either. It just isn’t worth the money, buy something else.

It is a crime to charge this much for this product. The reception is awful, the smart scan doesn’t help in finding any better stations. Do not buy this.

Not sure if it was just my unit but I have a Honda CRV and the signal is horrible…lots of static. Tried a ton of stations that I know are open with my previous units but still no success. Tried the “SmartScan” and it kept choosing known stations with strong signals already on them in my area. I would choose another product if you have the choice.

The Griffin iTrip for iPod/iPhone works as it is suppose to with my iPhone and iPods, including the 4th generation Nano iPod. My only gripe is how hard it is to set it and that it feels so delicate physically. I bought this product to replace the terrible Monster brand FM transmitter (Monster ICarplay Wireless 200) that would just suddenly turn off, which I bought to replace another Monster FM transmitter (not the wireless 200) that was stolen. This is my 1st Griffin product and I hope it stands up to my 1st Monster FM transmitter.
